Druif Beach runs south from Manchebo toward Oranjestad and is best known as the home beach of the Divi and Tamarijn all-inclusive resorts. It is narrower than Eagle Beach but calmer and better shaded, with palms and sea grape trees along much of it. If your hotel is here you have one of the easiest swimming beaches on the island a few steps from your room; if it is not, it is a quiet alternative when Eagle Beach is windy.

Swimming and water conditions

The bay is protected, so the water is flat most days and shallow for a good distance. It is a good beach for long swims and for children. Some sections have a few rocks at the waterline; look before you run in.

Snorkelling

Sand and seagrass; not a snorkelling beach. The reef coast at Malmok is a 20-minute drive north.

Facilities, shade and parking

The resorts run bars, restaurants and palapas for their guests. Public access is at the north end near Manchebo and at the south end toward the Divi golf course, where there are a few free palapas. Park along the road; there are no fees.

Staying on Druif Beach

Divi Aruba and Tamarijn are the two all-inclusives (guests can use both), with Divi Village and Divi Dutch Village across the road for apartment-style stays. See Aruba all-inclusive resorts and where to stay in Aruba.

Where to eat nearby

The resort restaurants dominate, but Oranjestad’s restaurants are ten minutes south and Eagle Beach‘s are five minutes north. See best restaurants in Aruba.
