Short version: ArubaFinest earns a commission when you book a tour, hotel, car or other service through some of the links on this site. It costs you nothing extra, it never changes the price you pay, and it is how we keep every guide free to read.
Who we work with
We are an affiliate partner of booking platforms including Viator (tours and activities), Expedia (hotels), and, where shown, car-rental comparison sites. When you click a link to one of these partners and complete a booking, the partner pays us a small percentage of the sale. Some links on this site carry no commission at all; we do not mark those differently because it would make no difference to what we recommend.
How it affects what we recommend
It does not. Our recommendations are based on what we believe is the most useful option for the visitor reading the page: the calmer beach, the better-value hotel, the tour we would tell a friend to take. Commission rates differ between partners and products, and we do not rank or feature anything because it pays more. When we think something is overpriced or not worth it, we say so, even when it would earn us a commission.
Prices, ratings and availability
Tour and hotel cards on this site show prices, ratings and availability supplied automatically by our partners’ systems and refreshed regularly. They can change between the time we display them and the time you book. The partner’s booking page is always the final word on price and terms. We never hard-code prices into our guides, and where we quote a cost in text it is an approximate guide, clearly described as such.
Honesty rules we follow
- We do not write fake reviews, invent awards, or claim partnerships we do not have.
- We do not describe something as personally tested unless it was.
- We label opinions as opinions and facts as facts.
- Affiliate links open the partner’s site in a new tab and are marked as sponsored for search engines.
- If a partner relationship ends, links are removed or replaced, not left to break.
Advertising
We do not currently run display advertising, sponsored posts or paid placements. If that changes, sponsored content will be clearly labelled on the page.
