Rosé All Day returns to Renaissance Island this Saturday
Rosé All Day celebrates its seventh edition on Saturday, August 29. The party runs from 6:00 PM until late on Renaissance Private Island. Guests wear pink or white, so expect a very photogenic sunset crowd. Tickets run about $69 and the event is 18+, however round-trip boat transport is included. Event details on VisitAruba.
Artweek Aruba lights up San Nicolas in September
Artweek Aruba returns from September 7 to 13 this year. Meanwhile, the Aruba Art Fair anchors the week on September 11, 12 and 13 at the Promenade. Organizers expect more than 100 local artists, plus musicians, poets and food trucks. Because the theme is Nature × Mankind, many of the new murals lean green. Full programme at Artweek Aruba.
Southwest adds a new nonstop route to the island
Southwest Airlines has announced Saturday-only nonstop service between Nashville and Aruba. Flights begin on March 13, 2027, so there is plenty of time to plan. Air Transat also opens a Montreal to Oranjestad route on December 12, 2026. Together these routes keep widening our map of direct connections. Read the route announcement.
Visitor numbers keep climbing across 2026
Aruba welcomed 427,343 overnight visitors during the first quarter of 2026. That figure is up 8.9 percent year over year. Because demand stays strong, popular restaurants and tours fill earlier than they used to. So we suggest reserving dinner about a week ahead in high season. See the arrivals data.
Weather outlook: peak season, however calm down here
Late August sits inside the busiest stretch of Atlantic hurricane season. However, we sit at 12.5°N, well south of the usual storm track. Forecasters expect near normal to slightly above normal temperatures, while rainfall should stay normal or below. In other words, pack sunscreen rather than a raincoat. Aruba news you can use: the ED-Card and sustainability fee
Every traveler staying over 24 hours must complete the digital ED-Card before arrival. The card itself is free, however a $20 sustainability fee applies to visitors aged 8 and up. That fee is charged once per calendar year, so repeat guests only pay once. Also, children need their own card even when the fee does not apply. Official ED-Card information.
